| 15 Hands 2 inches Markings: Hypp Results=N/N, Star. Strip and Snip extending onto upper lip. Hind pasterns white. No other markings Rocky, who is registered, is a very well trained horse. He was trained/ started on a ranch in the Big Horn Mountains near Sheridan, WY as a 3 and 4 year old. As a 5 yr. old he was trained for trail, recreational riding and team roping; as a heading horse. He has extensive training, with Western Trail Horses, in trail riding and trail associated obstacles: bags and flags, tarps, banging cans, etc. He is very light in the reins and with your legs. Very smooth at all gaits and is quick to bump into any speed, and will stop with little effort. He has been accustomed to hobbles and hard tying. He will bit low and easily, with just about any bit you may own. Also he will side pass up to the fence for mounting and to close/open gates. I would recomend at least an intermediate rider. |
